Restricted Waters
The following waters are open to non-powered vessels and those
powered with conventional outboard electric motors only, except as
posted and excepting Commission management and law enforcement
activities.
Non-Public Lakes and Assocations
witht Special Rules and Requgations
Special regulations govern operation of vessels, including water skiing and other related activities, on waters administered by non-public lake associations. They must be approved by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, Attorney General, Secretary of State and Governor. These rules apply to the bodies of water listed below. If you boat on non-public waters, contact the local lake association for rules and regulations that apply there.

- Bucktail Lake: (Polk Co.) 14 mi. W of Osceola
- Capitol Beach Lake: (Lancaster Co.) W edge of Lincoln
- Ginger Woods: (Douglas Co.) 11/2 mi. SW of Valley
- Hanson Lake No. 3: (Sarpy Co.) 4 mi. S, 11/2 mi. W of Bellevue
- Hawaiian Village: (Sarpy Co.) 6 mi. S of Papillion
- Lake Oconee Estates: (Platte Co.) 6 mi. W of Columbus
- Legge's Lake: (Dodge Co.) 3 mi. E, 11/2 mi. S of North Bend
- Leisure Lake: (Dodge Co.) 1/2 mi. W of Fremont
- Middle Island Lake: (Cass Co.) 1/2 mi. W of South Bend
- Morningstar Lake: (Polk Co.) 14 mi. W of Osceola

Closed Water
Waters closed to all motor boating except for Nebraska Game and
Parks Commission employees engaged in law enforcement and
management activities, include the following:

WATERS CLOSED TO ALL BOATS
Waters closed to all boats except for Nebraska Game and Parks
Commission employees engaged in law enforcement and management
activities, include the following:
- Boyer Chute National Wildlife Refuge (Mo. River Mile Marker 633.05 to
638.05, Washington Co.) The "Boyer Chute" portion of the refuge is closed
to all watercraft as posted.
